Park Avenue — Vivid

Display Suite · St Leonards

Time: 2026

Most apartments wait to be lived in. A display suite has to feel like it already is.

For the Park Avenue development in St Leonards, SYP Homes was commissioned to style the display suite — a space where prospective residents would come to picture their future lives. The brief was to create something that felt complete, personal, and real, rather than aspirational in the way showrooms so often are.

The answer was conviction over caution. In the main living area, a blue-green credenza holds its ground against warm whites and dark timber floors. A deep chocolate velvet sofa sits beside large-scale figurative artwork, propped and leaned against the wall with the ease of something that has always lived there. Throughout the suite, art is displayed this way — unhung, unrushed — a choice that gives the space a collected, editorial quality that no hook or hanger could replicate.

The bedrooms each carry a distinct character: steel blue and burgundy in the master, with a channelled velvet headboard set against upholstered wall panels; amber throws and boucle in the second room; a quieter confidence in the third, where a navy headboard and warm terracotta lamps sit beside full-height windows and city treetops. Dark marble in the bathrooms closes each sequence with weight and intention.

Not every display suite earns its way into memory. This one had something to say.
