General

  • We offer two main services: Styling Collections — curated full-home furnishing packages designed for apartment living — and Bespoke Interior Styling, a fully tailored design service for homes requiring a more personalised approach.

  • No. We work with both:

    • newly completed homes

    • existing homes that need refinement through styling and furnishing

  • Not necessarily.

    Many homes can be significantly transformed through thoughtful furniture composition, lighting,and styling, without structural renovation.

  • Most of our projects are private residences, but we also work with holiday homes, short-term accommodation, and selected commercial interiors where a curated living experience is important.

  • Most of our projects are based in Sydney, but remote consultation may be available depending on the scope.

Styling Collection

  • Each collection includes full-home furniture and styling for living, dining and bedroom(s). Entryway, balcony and study are available upon request. Procurement, delivery and white-glove installation are all included.

  • To an extent. After selecting a style direction, we prepare two design proposals tailored to your apartment layout and budget. You have one round of adjustments before we finalise the order — keeping the process efficient while still reflecting your preferences.

  • This may be possible, provided the project meets our minimum investment. Get in touch and we'll advise based on your situation.

  • We source across multiple trusted local suppliers. All pieces are brand new — no showroom stock or flatpack products.

  • Once the final plan is confirmed, we typically complete delivery and installation within a few weeks. We'll give you a clearer timeline based on your move-in date.

  • Yes. The package price covers design, sourcing, procurement, delivery and white-glove installation — no hidden fees.

  • Yes. A detailed furniture and styling specification is available upon request.

  • We coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues such as:

    • damaged deliveries

    • manufacturing defects

    • replacement or repair

    Each supplier has its own warranty terms, which we help manage on behalf of the client.

  • Styling Collection follows a curated desian structure.Once orders are placed with suppliers, changes may not always be possible, depending on supplierpolicies.

Bespoke:
Full-Service Styling

  • Bespoke projects are ideal for:

    • private houses

    • luxury apartments

    • renovation projects

    homes seeking a more personalised design expression

  • Full-Service Styling follows three stages: Bespoke Consultation, Design & Curation, and Procurement Management.

    Each stage builds on the last — from establishing strategic direction, through to curated design, and finally sourcing, ordering and delivery coordination. You may stop at any stage, though completing through to procurement delivers the most complete outcome.

  • Start with a Bespoke Consultation. It's designed to clarify your spatial priorities, aesthetic direction and budget before any design work begins. If you continue to Design & Curation within three months, the consultation fee may be credited toward that stage, subject to conditions.

  • No.

    Each stage builds on the previous one — you can choose to pause after any phase. However, continuing through to Procurement Management is where the service delivers its full value — your design is professionally executed, furniture is sourced through our trade network, and the overall investment is maximised.

  • Yes.

    Existing pieces with sentimental or aesthetic value can be integrated into the design where appropriate.

  • In some projects we may collaborate with craftsmen or suppliers to create custom pieces where needed.

  • Most Full-Service Styling Projects require approximately 4-12 weeks for the design and sourcing phase depending on the complexity of the space and the level of customisation involved. Furniture delivery and installation timelines may vary depending on supplier lead times and product availability.

  • Budgets vary significantly depending on:

    • home size

    • level of customisation

    • furniture and artwork selections

    Budget guidance is discussed during consultation.

  • Yes. However, when procurement is managed through SYP Homes, clients benefit from our trade accounts, access to trade pricing, and more efficient coordination with suppliers - advantages that are passed on to our clients.

  • Trade discounts vary depending on the supplier, but typically range between 15% and 40%, which are passed on to our clients when procurement is managed through SYP Homes.

  • If items are purchased through SYP Homes' procurement process, we will assist in liaising with suppliers and work towards the most appropriate solution on behalf of our clients.

Bespoke:
Art Advisory

  • Artwork recommendations are guided by several considerations:

    • the architecture and atmosphere of the home

    • scale and proportion within the space

    • colour relationships within the interior

    • the narrative the client wishes to express

    Rather than selecting artworks purely for decoration, the goal is to ensure the piece feels natural within the space and meaningful to the client.

  • We source artworks through a network of:

    • independent artists

    • established galleries

    • curated exhibitions

    • trusted art advisors and colectors

    This allows us to recommend pieces that are authentic, distinctive, and appropriate for the interior, rather than limited to mass-produced décor.

  • All artworks sourced through our advisory service come directly from artists, galleries, or trusted professional channels.

    Where applicable, documentation such as certificates of authenticity or gallery provenance maybe provided.

  • Not necessarily.

    A thoughtful interior can include artworks across a wide range of price points.

    Our role is to help identify pieces that carry visual presence and emotional value, whether they are emerging artists or established names.

  • No.

    Art advisory may include various forms of art such as:

    • paintings

    • sculptures

    • ceramics

    • textile art

    • photography

    The selection depends on the character of the home and the client's interests.

Bespoke:
Design Support

  • Design Support is designed for homeowners who need professional guidance for specific design decisions, without undertaking a full interior styling project.

    It is particularly useful for clients who:

    • are renovating and need help selecting materials or finishes

    • are unsure about colour palettes or lighting choices

    • want professional advice before making expensive design decisions

    • already have most elements in place but need refinement

  • Design Support works best when the scope of help is focused on particular elements, rather than a complete redesign.

    For example:

    • choosing flooring, finishes or colour palettes

    • refining lighting plans

    • selecting window treatments

    • adjusting furniture layouts or styling details

  • Yes.

    Some clients begin with Design Support to resolve specific questions, and later choose to expandinto a Styling Collection or Bespoke project once the direction becomes clearer.

  • Yes.

    SYP Homes regularly collaborates with builders, architects and interior designers. While they focus on planning and construction, we support the project through material selection, furniture curation and styling, providing an end-to-end furnishing layer that completes the space.
