Perched quietly in Bellevue Hill, this architect-designed home was conceived around a calm sensibility and a quieter rhythm of living. A deep blue, embedded in the building’s original palette, anchors the architecture and establishes the home’s composed atmosphere.

The garden had already introduced a subtle trace of Eastern philosophy to the property. Pruned pines stand like living sculptures among white stone spheres and pebbled ground, forming a landscape that feels contemplative and restrained.

Rather than rewriting this language, SYP Homes chose to extend it.

Our styling builds gently upon the architectural foundation. The deep blue reappears through textiles, glass and sculptural furnishings, while layered tones and natural materials add depth without disturbing the home’s quiet balance. Carefully selected artworks by local artists introduce moments of warmth and rhythm — not as decoration, but as the emotional breath of the space.

The result is an interior that remains deeply aligned with the spirit of the house: restrained yet expressive, composed yet richly layered — a home where stillness becomes presence.
